BlitzOS

BlitzOS serves as a context manager designed for companies and teams running cloud coding agents. Its primary function is to bundle all necessary code repositories, plans, documentation, and goals into a single context repository that the team owns. When launching a cloud agent, BlitzOS forks this company context repo, ensuring that each agent receives only the specific context, tools, and credentials required for its assigned tasks. This approach enables agents to begin work with full awareness of the relevant codebase, conventions, and the history of previous sessions, streamlining onboarding and operational efficiency.

The platform emphasizes granular security by scoping every grant on a per-role, per-agent basis, rather than granting account-wide access. This means agents are restricted to only the permissions and credentials they need for their particular job, reducing risk and improving control. An audit trail is maintained end-to-end, recording everything each agent accesses, including the time and credentials used, which supports accountability and compliance.

BlitzOS can be run as a managed service in the provider's cloud or deployed within a company's own VPC, offering flexibility in hosting and security preferences. It is open source under the MIT license and is self-hostable. The platform natively integrates with GitHub, allowing for seamless management of code repositories without requiring additional credential sharing. BlitzOS supports running coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex, and is suitable for teams of various sizes seeking to manage cloud-based coding workflows with enhanced context and security controls.
