axint

Axint is an open-source tool designed to help AI coding agents reliably generate and ship Apple-native software written in Swift. It provides a suite of tools including a compiler, validator, Fix Packet system, and integration with Xcode workflows, aiming to ensure that code produced by AI agents compiles successfully and adheres to Apple's platform requirements. The platform is positioned as a bridge between AI-generated Swift code and the rigorous standards needed for Apple app deployment, focusing on automating the feedback and repair process typically required during development.

The workflow facilitated by Axint is structured into seven stages, beginning with agent input in TypeScript, Python, or Axint’s own format, and progressing through compilation, validation with Apple-specific diagnostics, generation of a Fix Packet, agent-driven repair, Xcode-based checks, and finally, readiness for App Review. Unlike traditional developer tools that stop at reporting build or validation failures, Axint generates a Fix Packet at the fourth stage. This Fix Packet serves as a contract between the coding agent, Axint, and Xcode, providing a machine-readable summary that includes a verdict, confidence level, detailed findings, an AI-ready repair prompt, an Xcode checklist for manual intervention if needed, and a full evidence trail of artifacts such as build logs and generated Swift code. This enables AI agents to repair and rerun builds autonomously, without the need for human developers to parse or copy error messages.

Axint is compatible with any coding agent that communicates via MCP and lists integrations or usage with platforms such as Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Xcode, Antigravity, Zed, JetBrains, and Neovim. Installation can be performed via npm, and the tool can be activated and used from the terminal. 0 license, and offers both a free, open-source version and a free Cloud Check service, which allows users to run a limited number of hosted checks each month without requiring payment or a credit card. The tool is intended for AI agent developers and those automating the Apple app development process.
