Askoweb Order Withdrawal Control is a WordPress plugin designed to add a digital order withdrawal (Widerrufsbutton) process to WooCommerce shops. It addresses the need for online shops—especially those operating in the EU—to provide customers with a clear, structured, and user-friendly way to submit withdrawal requests directly through the shop interface. The tool enables shop operators to comply with upcoming legal requirements mandating a digital withdrawal button, effective from June 19, 2026.

The plugin guides customers through a step-by-step withdrawal process. It starts with a two-step verification using the order number and email address to ensure that only valid requests are processed. Customers can then view their order details, choose to withdraw from the entire order or select specific products for a partial withdrawal, and optionally provide a reason for their request. Upon submission, the withdrawal declaration is saved, an automatic confirmation email is sent to both the customer and the shop administrator, and a PDF confirmation is generated for immediate download by the customer. Shop operators are notified and can manage withdrawal requests within the WordPress dashboard.

Askoweb Order Withdrawal Control offers several customization and integration features. The withdrawal button can be placed flexibly in the shop, such as in the footer, as a widget, via shortcode, or within the customer account area. Texts, colors, and the overall appearance are configurable to fit different shop designs. The plugin is compatible with WooCommerce HPOS and WooCommerce Germanized, and it does not require external PDF dependencies.

The plugin is available on a yearly license basis, with options for one or five domains, and includes a 30-day free trial. It is intended for shop operators who want to standardize and document withdrawal processes, improve customer transparency, and ensure legal compliance in their WooCommerce-based online stores.
