Alovio Calculator

Alovio Calculator is a WordPress plugin designed for building interactive cost, price, and quote calculators. It addresses the need for instant, precise quotes on websites, allowing users to create calculators directly on a live builder canvas. The plugin is aimed at those who want to offer dynamic pricing or quote-request forms, such as service providers or businesses with variable pricing models.

The tool features a drag-and-drop builder where the calculator itself serves as the canvas, providing live totals as fields are added or changed. It supports 18 different field types, including sliders, dropdowns, image-card choices, toggles, quantities, text, textarea, date, email, phone, URL, and section dividers, with each choice capable of carrying a price. Alovio Calculator includes repeater rows, enabling visitors to add multiple rows—such as per room or guest—with each row having its own formula that contributes to the total calculation. Conditional logic is available, allowing fields to be shown, hidden, or required based on AND/OR rules or the running total, and this functionality is included in the free version.

The builder validates formulas in real time, checking syntax, references, and circular logic as users type. Calculators can be exported and imported as JSON files for backup or migration between sites. There is also a one-click import feature for calculators created with Cost Calculator Builder, providing a per-calculator report of the import process. The plugin offers a sticky quote summary that follows the visitor, as well as six distinct visual themes that can be applied without CSS. Quote-request forms allow for lead capture, including file uploads (such as images or PDFs), and entries are stored in the WordPress dashboard, emailed, and exportable to CSV. The plugin is designed to be GDPR-friendly, with no external requests, telemetry, or IP storage, and includes personal data export and erase features.
