AI Maestro

AI Maestro is an open-source platform designed to manage and coordinate multiple AI agents within organizations and teams from a unified dashboard. The tool addresses common challenges such as fragmented AI workflows, lack of persistent memory among agents, and the need for improved coordination across teams and machines. By consolidating agent management, AI Maestro aims to serve users ranging from solo developers to distributed, AI-first organizations.

The platform offers features including auto-discovery of tmux sessions for zero-configuration setup, support for a variety of terminal-based AI agents like Claude Code, Aider, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, and real-time terminal streaming via WebSockets. It provides a three-level project hierarchy with dynamic color organization, visibility for standalone agents, and a peer mesh network for controlling agents across multiple computers and cloud servers. AI Maestro integrates persistent memory for agents using an embedded CozoDB database, enabling agents to learn codebases and retain conversation history. Additional capabilities include codebase graph visualization with multi-language support, searchable conversation logs, and auto-generated documentation indices for agent reference.

For collaboration and workflow management, the platform supports direct agent-to-agent communication, secure Slack integration, email addresses for agents, and a Kanban-style war room for shared tasks and real-time chat. Mobile access is available and optimized for touch devices, with secure connectivity via Tailscale VPN. zip files for portability and import them elsewhere, and a plugin builder allows custom skill set assembly from GitHub or user-created plugins. The system also features an open protocol for structured UI-to-agent interactions and pre-built frameworks like Lola, a personal assistant template providing email triage, semantic memory, task management, and content security.
