AgentLogs is an open-source, self-hostable tool for coding agents that makes sessions visible to a team. It tracks sessions, lets teams share prompts and context, and links each conversation to the commit it produced.

Its feature set centers on team observability for AI coding work. The product says it can track every session, help teams share context, and build a knowledge base of prompts that actually work. It also includes Git integration so users can see which session wrote which code when the agent is the one committing. A further use case called out on the site is learning from each other by seeing what prompts teammates are using and how they solve problems. The service also describes transcript visibility controls: transcripts can be private, team-visible, or public, with default visibility based on repository visibility and the option to override that per repository.

AgentLogs captures sessions through lightweight plugins for coding agents. The listed supported agents are Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode, Pi, and Cline. The site says each agent has its own plugin, installation can be done with a single command, and transcripts are captured at the end of each session and automatically linked to Git commits, with no additional configuration needed. It also says transcripts are scanned for secrets before upload, using more than 1,600 detection patterns for API keys, tokens, passwords, and database credentials, and that detected secrets are redacted on the user’s machine so they never leave in plain text.

For delivery, AgentLogs ships as a Docker image or a single standalone binary, and it can be run on the user’s own infrastructure or used through the company’s hosted version. The codebase for the CLI, web app, and plugins is available on GitHub. Licensing is given as FSL-1.1-Apache-2.0.
