A11yFleet is a WordPress plugin designed to help site owners and editors identify and address accessibility issues in their website content. It focuses on compliance with the WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria and provides tools to monitor and improve accessibility in line with the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

The plugin conducts automated checks on both post and page content as well as the fully rendered page, including elements like the theme header, navigation, and footer. Specific issues detected by A11yFleet include missing image alt text, non-descriptive link text, skipped heading levels, unlabelled form controls, buttons without accessible names, duplicate IDs, empty headings, missing iframe titles, and missing document language. For each scanned page, the plugin assigns a score and highlights exactly what needs to be fixed and why, supporting a targeted approach to remediation.

A dashboard feature lists all pages with detected issues, prioritizing those with the worst scores. Users can ignore or restore individual issues, with these choices persisting across subsequent scans. A11yFleet also integrates with the WordPress block editor, offering an Accessibility panel that allows users to scan the content they are editing before saving, or to review the full page, with results kept in sync with the main dashboard.

The plugin generates a compliance report and provides a draft accessibility statement tailored for the European Accessibility Act. This aims to assist site owners in documenting their accessibility efforts and compliance status.
