Winevizer

Winevizer is a WordPress plugin designed to provide a digital wine card solution for restaurants, bars, and wine shops. It enables these establishments to embed their own Winevizer card directly into their WordPress websites, offering a digital method for showcasing wine selections online.

The plugin supports three integration methods, all managed through a single global configuration to avoid repetitive settings for each page. Users can add the wine card using a shortcode ([winevizer]), a Gutenberg block labeled "Carte Winevizer," or a classic widget of the same name. This flexibility allows site owners to choose the integration method that best fits their site's layout and editing workflow.

Winevizer offers four types of display options for presenting the wine card. The recommended option is Inline HTML, where the card is rendered server-side by Winevizer and injected directly into the page, which is noted as being optimal for search engine optimization since search engines can index the wines without requiring JavaScript. Another Inline HTML option, Mosaic, provides a visual browsing experience by wine color, allowing users to click a color, select a wine image, and view its details; this mode is also server-rendered. For interactive experiences, the plugin supports embedding the Winevizer app in an iframe as a digital card. Additionally, there is an iframe option for displaying a printable PDF version of the wine card.
