Diarc

Diarc is a native macOS application designed as an independent companion for the Dia browser, focusing on managing multiple Dia profiles within a single window. It addresses the challenge of Dia's default behavior, where each browser profile opens in its own window and can become scattered across the desktop. Diarc introduces a pinned switcher pane within the Dia window, allowing users to bring any profile to the front with a single tap, thereby restoring a centralized, one-window workflow reminiscent of the Arc browser's Spaces feature.

The tool provides features such as renaming and reordering profiles directly within the switcher pane. When a user switches profiles, the selected instance occupies the position previously held by the last active profile, streamlining the process of moving between different browser contexts. Diarc operates as a separate application and does not modify or inject code into Dia, nor does it require disabling macOS System Integrity Protection (SIP). This ensures that Dia remains unaware of Diarc's presence, maintaining the security and integrity of the browser environment.

Diarc is delivered as a standalone macOS app, compatible with macOS 13 or later. It is not a browser extension but a fully native application with a small footprint and built using system-native frameworks. The app is capable of updating itself automatically.
