For automation and scripting, cwmail includes a CLI send mode that enables non-interactive message sending, suitable for integration into shell scripts, CI pipelines, or use by AI agents. Configuration is managed via JSON files, and credentials are stored in the operating system’s keyring. All user data, including the local mail mirror and drafts, is stored locally, and there is no dependency on any external service or SaaS platform.
