Daily Sudoku

Daily Sudoku is a free web-based puzzle offering from PuzzleTide that delivers the same four sudoku grids to every player each day. It supplies one easy, one medium, one hard, and one expert puzzle generated from the current date so that all participants solve identical grids and can compare completion times. New sets appear at midnight in the player's local time.

Each puzzle is produced with a verified unique solution. Difficulty is controlled by the number of starting clues: easy provides 36 to 45 givens for a quick solve, medium uses 27 to 35, hard supplies 22 to 26 and recommends pencil marks, while expert offers the fewest clues possible while remaining solvable and requires extended deduction chains. The puzzles load and are solved directly in the browser. A companion Chrome extension places the four daily puzzles one click away from any webpage, includes streaks and best times, supports pencil marks, and works fully offline without sending network requests or collecting data. It is scheduled to arrive in the Chrome Web Store.

The site also hosts a how-to-play sudoku guide that explains rules and initial techniques along with additional free sudoku puzzles for days when the daily set is insufficient. An FAQ section addresses common questions about the daily cycle.
