Stacy

Stacy is a local-first notes workspace that includes a built-in MCP server allowing integration with Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. It addresses the need for note-taking where content remains on the user's device by default while supporting AI-assisted creation and selective sharing.

The application supports structured notes built from blocks, headings, lists, tables, toggles, files, and embeds. Users can generate project pages, trackers, databases, and templates from a prompt, then continue editing them as ordinary pages. Additional capabilities include backlinks between pages, workspace-wide search, and live collaboration with individuals or teams. Shared pages can collect email addresses from readers.

Stacy provides a desktop application for macOS, Windows, and Linux alongside a web application for browser access. Notes reside locally on the device, with optional sync, hosted AI features, and team support available. The built-in MCP server enables the named AI tools to read from and write to selected pages. The workspace does not use note content, transcripts, file names, or page titles for analytics.
