DokMine

DokMine is a document PII extract-and-redact tool for PDFs, Office files, and images. It scans documents for emails, phone numbers, URLs, IDs, and names, then returns the file in its original format with that information removed or masked. Its stated purpose is summed up in its own slogan: use the document, not the personal data.

The same engine supports two workflows. In extract mode, it returns a list of what it found inside a document set, grouped by type and listed per file. The page says it can be pointed at a batch of PDFs, spreadsheets, or mail archives, and that the extracted results are useful for taking stock of what a document collection contains, auditing links across it, or checking what a file exposes before it is shared. In redact mode, it sends back the same file without the personal details. Matches can be masked either by blacking them out or by replacing them with a consistent typed token so the document remains readable and the same value maps to the same token.

DokMine explicitly says it supports PDF, Office file, and image formats. It also notes a free tier with no card needed, and that files are removed after processing. The site warns that automated detection is never perfect and advises reviewing a redacted file before sharing it.
