Stillwind

Stillwind is a search platform designed for electronic component discovery and system design. It addresses the challenge of finding suitable electronic parts by allowing users to search for components using natural language, specific electrical behaviors, constraints, or package descriptions. The platform leverages a proprietary database of components, providing results with source-backed specifications and datasheets that include page-level references for validation.

A key feature of Stillwind is its hybrid search capability, which combines parametric and semantic parameters within a single natural language query. This enables users to locate exact parts by describing their requirements in detail. The system supports millions of structured parameters and offers access to a wide range of datasheets and manufacturers. Users can also find footprint-matching alternatives and build semantically checked boards directly from a prompt.

Stillwind includes a "Builder" feature, currently in beta, that assists users in composing boards from an initial idea to a validated bill of materials (BOM) within minutes. The Builder helps draft specifications, formalizes system constraints mathematically, and cross-references components in real time to resolve incompatibilities. It then produces a semantically validated BOM, streamlining the process of moving from design intent to component selection.

The platform is delivered as a web-based service, with interactive features such as example prompts and file uploads for design tasks. Stillwind is positioned as a tool for autonomous electrical engineering, serving those involved in electrical design who require efficient component search, validation, and system composition.
