Skupa

Skupa provides dependency intelligence for Azure data environments by mapping and visualizing dependencies across Azure SQL, Synapse, and Dataverse. Designed for data engineers, DBAs, solution architects, Power Platform administrators, and consultants, it addresses the challenge of understanding the impact of changes within complex Azure data estates. The tool enables users to see exactly what might break before modifying tables or objects, supporting safer database changes, audits, migrations, and documentation handoffs.

Skupa operates as a strictly read-only desktop application for Windows 10 and 11, with no telemetry and the ability to work offline. Users sign in with a Microsoft account, after which the tool automatically discovers Azure subscriptions, SQL servers, databases, Synapse dedicated pools, and Dataverse environments within both Azure Commercial and Azure Government. The mapped dependencies are presented in Visio-style diagrams, including a swimlane view that allows users to click any node to re-center and explore upstream and downstream relationships among tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and flows. The documentation and diagrams generated by Skupa can be exported in seven formats, making it accessible for team-wide use and external sharing.
