Scorchsaver is a wildfire containment puzzle available in open beta. Players work to contain spreading fires and protect houses on a fresh random map generated for each session.
Wildfires spread with the wind and sideways each turn while the wind direction shifts unpredictably. One crew resource provides three shared actions per turn across all tools. A backfire lights on a highlighted tree near a fire and marches against the wind; a direct collision with wildfire turns both into ash that acts as a firebreak, but a missed backfire turns rogue and becomes new wildfire. Buckets unlock on turn two and extinguish a single fire cell. Extinguishers unlock on turn four and put out one fire cell plus all its neighbors. Houses must stay protected because any contact with fire or a rogue backfire ends the game in defeat. The score equals saved forest cells plus saved houses, so faster containment yields higher scores. A day timer automatically ends each turn at dusk but can be toggled off for untimed play. Three difficulty levels appear in the early animated experiment.
The game runs in a browser. Controls include placing backfires, buckets, and extinguishers, advancing turns, resetting the current map, and generating a new random map. A short demo and how-to-play section explain the mechanics.
