Users can assign a resurface date to any thread, prompting the tool to bring the conversation back to their attention at a specified time. The dashboard presents an overview of overdue, due today, and potentially cold threads, allowing users to prioritize their responses efficiently.

Resurface delivers daily notifications summarizing which contacts require follow-up, with in-app notifications available to all users and email digests offered to those on the Pro plan. The thread detail view displays the full conversation history with each person, organized by DMs and comments, and provides direct links back to the original messages. The tool emphasizes privacy by allowing users to choose which messages to save, and clarifies that it is not a CRM, outbound automation tool, scheduler, or analytics suite.

The extension is available for free with no credit card required, and offers a free forever plan. Email notifications are part of the Pro plan.
