OpenTikZ

OpenTikZ supplies a copyable library of paper-ready conceptual TikZ figures for LaTeX documents. It functions as an AI-agent skill that accepts natural-language descriptions and returns compilable TikZ code ready for inclusion in academic or technical papers.

The library contains ready-to-use templates such as LoRA, FlashAttention, Generative Adversarial Network, Agent Tool-Use Stack, Distributed data-parallel training, Encoder-decoder bottleneck, Feed-forward neural network, Flowchart with decision and loop, LLM Serving Stack, Model inference serving, ResNet residual block, and System block diagram. Users can browse icons, copy a single .tex snippet or download SVG and PNG versions, then include the code with an \input command. Four documented usage modes exist: selecting an icon without AI assistance, editing an existing template by describing changes, converting a PNG image into editable TikZ, and generating TikZ from a textual description.

Integration occurs through Claude Code by adding the plugin from its marketplace and issuing two setup messages followed by the /opentikz command. The service is delivered as a GitHub-hosted library with supporting documentation, examples, and an AI skill that verifies compilation after edits.
