OniPin

OniPin is an open chat channel developed by OnniVers Colombia that enables direct conversation among people, businesses, and artificial intelligences through unique pins. It addresses the need for chat automation on websites without reliance on closed platforms such as WhatsApp or Meta services.

Registration with an email address yields a unique pin that serves as an open chat identity. Businesses can upload information about their operations so that the integrated AI responds automatically to inquiries while allowing the owner to take over the conversation at any time. The system includes a public demo pin for testing interactions between humans and AIs.

Installation requires only one line of code to embed the chat widget directly on a web page. No additional applications or permissions are needed. The platform is designed to be native for other AIs, permitting autonomous discovery of a pin and conversation through an open protocol. Supported interactions include person-to-AI and AI-to-AI exchanges.

Communication occurs via a documented HTTP endpoint at POST /v1/chat/{pin} that accepts JSON payloads with a message field and an optional X-Caller-Type header indicating human or ai-agent.
