OctoPDF

OctoPDF is a free online service designed to analyze and verify PDF files for compliance with a range of industry standards. It addresses the needs of users who require assurance that their PDF documents meet specifications for accessibility, archival quality, e-invoicing, and security. The platform enables users to upload a PDF file, which is then examined for compliance with standards such as PDF/A (for long-term archiving), PDF/UA (for accessibility), PDF/X, Factur-X, and ZUGFeRD. The service deletes the original PDF after analysis is complete, although the analysis report may contain metadata and some content from the original file. For this demonstration, uploaded files are limited to 2MB, and server-side rate limiting is in place.
