Tenant Launcher is a Firefox extension designed to streamline the management of multiple Microsoft admin portals for clients, with a particular focus on managed service providers and IT professionals handling several customer accounts. The tool addresses the challenge of switching between different Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra, and SharePoint admin centers by opening each client’s portal in its own isolated container within Firefox, using the browser’s native Multi-Account Containers feature. This setup eliminates the need for repeated logins and reduces the risk of making changes in the wrong client’s account, as each session remains fully separated.

Setting up a client in Tenant Launcher involves entering a company name, after which the extension creates a dedicated container and opens the relevant Microsoft admin portal. Users sign in once per client, and the extension ensures they remain signed in for future sessions. When a session expires, Tenant Launcher provides a quick-access button on the Microsoft sign-in page, allowing users to retrieve credentials from IT Glue or another password vault, though the extension itself never stores passwords or Microsoft tokens. All sensitive data, such as company names and container mappings, is stored locally in the browser and never uploaded to external servers.

Security is emphasized through the use of Firefox’s native container isolation, ensuring that sign-ins occur entirely within real browser tabs and that no credentials or tokens are handled by the extension’s servers. For enterprise teams, Tenant Launcher offers a full audit trail, logging every portal access with user, tenant, portal type, and IP address, which can be searched and exported for compliance purposes. Team management features allow administrators to invite technicians, assign seats, and control access from a central interface.

The extension is available exclusively for Firefox and requires Multi-Account Containers support, which is built into the browser. Pricing is tiered: a free plan allows management of up to three tenants with all portal types and full container isolation; paid plans start at $5 per month for up to 20 tenants, with unlimited tenant support at $10 per month for a single user. Enterprise pricing is based on the number of technician seats, with per-seat rates decreasing as team size increases.
