Inferior is a platform designed to capture, cluster, and govern decisions made by AI agents within enterprise environments. It addresses the challenge of retaining and structuring the institutional knowledge generated by AI agents as they make high-stakes decisions, aiming to prevent repeated mistakes and ensure that each decision contributes to organizational learning. The platform is intended for enterprises deploying AI agents in production, particularly where compliance, accountability, and auditability are critical.
The platform operates in three main stages: capture, cluster, and govern. In the capture stage, Inferior integrates directly into the agent loop via an SDK, recording every agent iteration—whether successful, failed, or abandoned—along with full decision context. Data is redacted of personally identifiable information and stamped with an evidence class before leaving the tenant environment, with minimal agent-side overhead. The platform also offers an enterprise crawler that connects to existing business systems, such as Slack, Salesforce, Jira, and Notion, to proactively discover and import historical decision data, honoring source access controls and data residency requirements.
During the clustering stage, Inferior groups similar agent runs based on semantic and outcome similarity, converting multiple logs into named patterns with attached confidence, frequency, and provenance. These patterns are then governed in the final stage, where approved patterns become procedures that agents are required to consult before acting. Each decision is linked to versioned insights, experiences, and an auditable trail accessible to compliance teams. The platform supports exporting audit trails to SIEM systems and enables replaying any decision for review.
Inferior provides public, team, and private scopes to maintain data boundaries, ensuring proprietary patterns remain within the appropriate jurisdiction, including VPC, single-tenant, or fully on-premises deployments. The platform grades evidence by strength—such as widely validated, peer validated, personally validated, self-reported, or speculative—and marks patterns as transferable with context-specific warnings. Integrations are available via SDKs for Python, TypeScript, MCP, A2A, and REST, and the crawler supports connectors to several enterprise platforms.
Inferior sits in PulseGate's LLM eval & observability category. It focuses on retaining and governing institutional knowledge from AI agent decisions to prevent repeated mistakes and improve accountability. It is built as a B2B product for enterprise AI teams. The product ships for the web, the command line, and API.
Inferior first shipped in 2026. Key capabilities include agent governance, decision capture, and knowledge clustering. Inferior is currently in beta.
