IcyZip is a private end-to-end encrypted live text bridge that connects two browsers through a QR code or link. It addresses the need to transfer text snippets, notes, links, or codes between devices such as phones, laptops, tablets, and desktops without accounts or persistent storage.

The service presents a shared live text field once paired. Text typed or pasted on one side appears immediately on the other for copying. A file transfer option becomes available only after connection and is limited to one selected file. Users can disconnect at any time. IcyZip runs entirely in the browser on any device that supports it. Pairing occurs by scanning a QR code displayed on one browser with the camera of the second, or by opening a copied pairing link. No login, app installation, email, or cloud drive is required. The tool stores only temporary pairing identifiers and emphasizes that it does not keep user data beyond what is needed for the active session.
