Hiphops is a private container registry platform focused on enabling software licensing and distribution without pull limits. It is designed for software vendors and teams who need to share containerized applications with customers across any cloud, VPC, or on-premises environment, while maintaining full control over licensing and access. The platform integrates software licensing directly into the container delivery workflow, allowing users to create licensed products, define custom license fields and permissions, and generate customer-specific product keys. These product keys function as both license validation tokens and Docker registry credentials, streamlining the onboarding and management process.

Hiphops supports integration with existing registries, enabling push or pull connections to services such as Amazon ECR, Google Artifact Registry, and Docker Hub. Users can grant external access via shareable tokens, set up customer cloud connections, and manage multi-tenant access control. js, Deno, Bun, and Docker containers. The service is available in three pricing tiers. The Registry Team plan, at $150 per month, expands storage to 30GB, allows for up to five licensed products, adds license analytics and reporting, and introduces customer cloud connections and private Slack support. The Registry Enterprise plan, priced at $1000 per month, further increases storage (from 300GB up to unlimited), supports unlimited licensed products, advanced analytics, multiple customer cloud connections, custom SSO integration, priority support, dedicated instances, and professional services.
