ژئوباکس is a cloud-based GIS infrastructure platform designed to provide organizations, businesses, and individuals with a comprehensive solution for managing, analyzing, and sharing geospatial data. The platform offers a suite of services, software applications, APIs, and developer kits that support the full cycle of cloud GIS development and deployment.

Key components of ژئوباکس include Geobox Server for cloud GIS hosting, Geobox Portal for spatial content management, Geobox Studio for professional online map creation, and Geobox Client for building comprehensive WebGIS applications. The platform also features RESTful APIs and SDKs, enabling integration and development for various use cases. Users can upload, publish, and share both vector and raster geospatial data online through the portal, streamlining the process in three steps: upload, publish as spatial services, and share.

A dedicated tile server with parallel processing capabilities allows users to rapidly generate millions of vector and raster tiles, either on-demand or as complete tile sets. Geobox Studio provides advanced cartographic tools for customizing map layers, feature visualization, labeling, and more. Data services enable fast access, search, and filtering of large vector layers, supporting complex queries and reporting. Editing services permit both individual and batch editing of spatial features and schema fields, with progress tracking available through a task management module.

The platform also includes analytical services for spatial data analysis, allowing users to identify patterns, trends, and correlations, and to create analytical maps such as heatmaps and clusters. Raster services support the processing, management, and visualization of large raster datasets, including optimization for online viewing, display customization, raster calculations, classification, and mosaicking. Three-dimensional modeling is supported through the creation of terrain and hillshade models from raster elevation data, as well as the import of point cloud (LiDAR) and 3D models (glb/glTF) to build digital twins and perform 3D analyses.

Heavy spatial processing tasks can be managed and executed online via a distributed task queue, leveraging parallel processing to significantly reduce execution times for complex operations.
