Editlink.io generates shareable edit links for individual Airtable records. It addresses the need to let external people update specific records without granting them Airtable accounts, API keys, or workspace access.

The service produces a unique signed URL for each record. Recipients open the link to see a form-like view where they can modify only the fields the owner designated as editable while other fields remain read-only. Links expire after 30 days, require no login from the recipient, and can trigger an email notification to the owner when an update occurs. Setup involves pasting an Airtable personal access token that receives minimal permissions, selecting editable and read-only fields per table, and then distributing the generated link via email, Notion pages, or other channels. The interface displays the record with a Save Changes button and a small Powered by editlink.io notice.

It supports 13 field types and stores configurations per table for reuse. The product is built for teams that rely on Airtable as their primary workspace and need to collect updates from vendors, clients, or other outsiders in a controlled manner. Delivery occurs entirely through the editlink.io web application; no additional software installation is required.
