Destyn is an iOS-only dating app designed for users in the United States and Canada, with an emphasis on facilitating high-quality introductions and protecting user attention. The platform departs from the typical endless swipe model by offering a finite daily set of profiles, encouraging more intentional choices and reducing overload. This daily cap on swipes applies to both free and paid users, with paid users receiving a higher number of daily picks. Destyn aims to optimize for meaningful relationship outcomes rather than maximizing the volume of swipes or session time.

A notable feature of Destyn is its video-first discovery approach, where users can create optional 30-second video introductions. These video intros undergo moderation and face-match verification before becoming visible, supporting both authenticity and safety. The app also requires photo verification before users can access discovery, and it incorporates trust controls such as report and block functions in every key flow. Destyn's interaction design is intentionally spam-resistant, and it does not offer pay-to-win boosts or hidden queue mechanics; fairness and safety protections are not purchasable.

Privacy is a core focus, with chats that are end-to-end encrypted and built for private conversations. Moderation guardrails are in place to maintain a safe, human-centered experience.
