Krea2 Identity Edit

Krea2 Identity Edit is an image-editing model designed to improve face likeness and image fidelity in edited images. The model focuses on maintaining strong edit locality, meaning that elements such as camera perspective, pose, and untouched areas of the image remain consistent during the editing process. It also provides better separation of identities when editing images containing two people, and offers more reliable object removal and replacement, as well as improved compliance with compound outfit changes.

1 release of Krea2 Identity Edit introduces corrections to reference geometry handling and enhances the ability to keep fixed elements unchanged during edits. The model does not yet include a high-resolution adaptation pass, so at higher resolutions, especially with two-person edits, identity features may blend together. 5 megapixels, with upscaling suggested for higher resolution needs.

Krea2 Identity Edit is distributed under the krea-2-community-license. It is available as a model file in the safetensors format, with low-VRAM variants also offered. The tool is accessible via the Hugging Face platform, which provides model files for download and integration into compatible workflows.
