AliothPress is a self-hosted content management system (CMS) designed for building both monolingual and multilingual websites. It emphasizes automated search engine optimization (SEO) and artificial intelligence engine optimization (AEO), helping sites achieve visibility in search engines and citation by AI systems. The platform integrates a visual page builder and offers an optional AI assistant to support content creation, translation, SEO meta tag generation, page layouts, and form building. Installation is handled via a setup wizard directly in the browser, and the system is built with Python and Flask, running on cloud hosting with Ubuntu and supporting SQLite or PostgreSQL databases.

The CMS provides a unified control panel for managing content, pages, media, forms, and newsletters, as well as tools for SEO, themes, menus, favicon generation, and system settings. The admin panel and user interface are available in 31 languages, with each user able to select their preferred language and theme mode (dark or light) independently. AliothPress automates many tasks: URL changes trigger automatic 301 redirects, publishing content updates the sitemap, and uploaded images are compressed and converted to WebP and AVIF formats. When content is deleted, all references are cleaned up automatically. The platform supports three user roles—editor, admin, and owner—each with specific access levels, and all changes are logged in an activity log. Backup and restore functions are available with a single click from the control panel.

AliothPress includes 15 design themes, each with dark and light modes, and allows users to upload custom themes as ZIP files, which persist through core updates. Technical SEO is handled automatically, generating meta tags, canonical links, hreflang, Open Graph, and Twitter Cards for each page. txt files. txt file for AI systems. Optional integration with AI agents via the WebMCP browser standard is available, allowing public content search and administrative tools, with all write actions requiring human confirmation.

AI assistant integration supports Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, and Google Gemini via API, with all generated content stored in JSON format.
