Cloud runners

Cloud runners is a compute platform designed to run continuous integration (CI) pipelines for GitHub Actions and GitLab CI. It addresses challenges such as slow build times, unpredictable costs due to rigid billing, and wasted expenditure on idle resources. The platform is positioned for teams and organizations seeking faster builds, improved cost efficiency, and straightforward integration with their existing CI/CD workflows.

The service offers high-performance virtual machines for each job, using KVM-based instances that provide strong tenant isolation and near bare-metal performance. Each job is allocated a dedicated, ephemeral filesystem, ensuring that storage is high-performance and is wiped clean after the job completes. This setup is intended to maximize both security and speed, with no leftover data between jobs. For GitHub Actions, the runners are fully compatible with official GitHub Actions runners and work with organization accounts. For GitLab CI, the platform supports service containers and offers features such as an interactive web terminal for real-time pipeline debugging on certain plans.

Cloud runners employs a dynamic, load-based billing model, charging only for the actual CPU and memory load consumed by jobs, rather than for idle time. Pricing is usage-based, with a free plan that includes one integration with either GitLab or GitHub, up to 10 concurrent jobs, and specific resource allocations per job (12 vCPU, 32 GB memory, 400 vCPU-minutes and 800 GB-minutes monthly included). The Business plan expands these limits, offering three integrations, unlimited concurrent jobs, higher per-job resources (48 vCPU, 96 GB memory), persistent file storage, and additional features such as job caching and ARM-based compute nodes. An Enterprise plan is available with custom integrations, resource limits, dedicated nodes, GPU support, and regional job placement.

Users can manage runners through a dashboard or a declarative API. The platform is EU-based and emphasizes compatibility with existing configurations, quick setup, and the ability to scale resources in real time. Cloud runners is provided by Puzl Cloud OÜ.
