Cis Utility Billing (UB4)

UB4 is a browser-based utility billing and customer information system designed for organizations that manage utility services such as water or sewer. Developed as the fourth generation of CUSI's CIS and utility billing applications, UB4 incorporates feedback from industry professionals to deliver a modern, intuitive user experience and enhanced administrative capabilities.

The platform offers a range of features including a built-in report writer for creating and saving custom reports and dashboards, providing users with greater access to and insight from their data. Administrative dashboards can be tailored to display key performance indicators relevant to each business. UB4 also includes an omnisearch function, enabling users to quickly search the entire database using any reference data to locate users, locations, or other information. Configurable software wizards are available to streamline and standardize complex multi-step processes, supporting organizational procedures and improving data integrity.

UB4 supports communication with users through multiple channels, including CUSI’s Customer Web Portal, print, automated phone calls, text messages, and email. The system offers customization options such as multiple themes and role-based security, allowing features and functionality to be tailored for individual users or roles. The application is cloud-hosted and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection through a browser, supporting mobile meter reading and remote operations. UB4 is also noted for its advanced cybersecurity measures and offers hundreds of potential integrations.
