Chordmatic

Chordmatic is a web application for musicians that replaces paper chord sheets with digital transposable versions ready for live performance. It addresses the need for quick access to song charts during shows without the mess or limitations of printed materials.

The tool supports creation of chord charts and chords-over-lyrics formats through simple plain text markup. Songs can be transposed instantly with one click to suit any voice or instrument, with updates applied immediately. An alphabetized library allows fast navigation, including search-as-you-type functionality and tap-to-open access that collapses on smaller screens. Charts are cached for instant offline opening once loaded, though an active internet connection is required initially to access the workspace. Formats include chord-centric layouts favored by jazz and jam players that keep an entire progression visible, as well as chords aligned above lyrics for synchronized singing and playing.

It is delivered as a web app optimized for use on tablets during stage performances. A free plan provides access to up to five songs along with all core features. The Standard plan adds unlimited songs and setlists for shows. Users can start on the free tier and upgrade at any time.
