Ralphy

Ralphy is an open-source command-line interface (CLI) designed to automate the creation of short-form videos by integrating directly with coding agents. It transforms a coding agent into a content production tool capable of generating marketing videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts through a single prompt. The tool addresses the need for rapid, data-driven video marketing by offering trend analysis, style cloning, fast rendering, and automated iteration based on performance metrics.

Key features include trend-watching, where users can specify a niche or social media handle for Ralphy to crawl and report on trending formats, hooks, and reference clips across major short-form video platforms. The style-cloning function allows users to replicate the visual style of any public video by providing its URL, extracting elements like palette, format, and music, and preparing them as templates for reuse. Video rendering is streamlined, with Ralphy orchestrating multiple sub-agents to handle tasks such as planning, research, storyboarding, and generating image, video, voice, and music components. 0 for motion, as well as eleven-multilingual-v2 for voice.

Ralphy supports analytics-driven iteration, allowing users to feed back performance data such as views, watch-time, and conversion rates. The tool automatically refines future videos by keeping successful variants and retiring less effective ones, with actionable suggestions from its built-in critic. A template library is included, offering forkable starters in categories like commercials, hyper-motion, horror shorts, fruit dramas, and talking head formats, with new styles added regularly.

Installation is facilitated by a single command that fetches a prebuilt binary compatible with macOS, Linux, and Windows.
