aiqst Work Review is a local-first, open-source desktop tool designed for personal work tracking and review. It automatically records context from applications, websites, and windows used throughout the day, enabling users to reflect on their activities and generate structured daily reports. The tool emphasizes privacy by operating entirely on the user's device, with no data uploads, and stores information locally in SQLite. Users can exclude or anonymize data by application, ensuring that the tool remains personal and non-intrusive.

Key features include automatic activity logging, scheduled screen snapshots with OCR text extraction, and a timeline view for reviewing past work. Work Review also offers AI-assisted capabilities, such as natural language queries about work history and automated daily summary generation. The tool supports cross-platform use on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and is built with technologies including Tauri, Rust, and SQLite.

Additional beta features are in development, such as a desktop companion window that adapts to different activity states (idle, work, reading, meeting, music, video) and aims to provide reminders and contextual assistance. Integration options in beta allow connecting work records to external AI programming assistants and remote querying via platforms like Telegram and Feishu, supporting multi-device access and one-sentence daily report generation.
