AI Plate Checker is a web service for UK vehicle buyers that returns MOT history, DVLA records, market pricing, and an AI-generated condition score from a registration plate. It addresses the need for quick verification of a used car's background before purchase.

The service accepts any current or older UK registration plate. Users may optionally supply an asking price and a listing URL. It retrieves the full DVSA MOT history including every pass, fail and advisory note, along with tax status, ULEZ compliance and automatically flagged mileage anomalies. Market data is combined to show how the asking price compares with similar vehicles. An expected repair bill is estimated from the MOT record.

A condition score out of 100 is produced together with an AI summary of the vehicle's history. The output includes a buy or avoid verdict and lists specific areas that should be inspected. The entire process is presented as three steps: enter the registration, records are fetched from DVLA and DVSA sources plus market data, and the compiled report is displayed.
