ActivitySmith Python SDK

ActivitySmith Python SDK enables developers to send live activity updates and push notifications from Python-based backends, jobs, or automations directly to iOS devices. The tool is designed to make it possible for businesses and teams to display real-time metrics, deployment statuses, alerts, and other dynamic information on iPhone lock screens using Lock Screen Widgets and Live Activities, without requiring the development of a custom mobile app.

With this SDK, users can trigger Live Activities for events that evolve over time, such as deployments progressing through steps, automations running, or business metrics updating in real time. It also supports sending immediate push notifications for events like completed deployments, user signups, trial conversions, build failures, and error rate spikes. The SDK integrates with the ActivitySmith platform, which provides a dedicated iOS app for receiving these updates. This setup removes the need for developers to manage Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificates or maintain their own mobile applications, as all notifications are delivered through the official ActivitySmith app.
