Corrections

A correction is a change made to a record by hand and written to a log that is only ever added to. A wrong correction is followed by another correction, never edited away.

What this summary leaves out

The log also keeps why each change was made, what it rested on and who made it. Those stay out of this summary, because they can carry the words of the person who reported the error. Before and after are shown only for the fields a record’s own page shows anyway — name, category, pricing, platform type and license — and nothing is shown for a record that is no longer listed.

To report something wrong about a listing, use Report an Issue. There is no ticket number and no promised turnaround: a person reads it, and either the record changes — and appears here — or it does not.

Editions keep what every record looked like each month, so a correction never rewrites what an earlier edition said. Methodology
